Privacy Policy

We believe in transparency. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights — in plain English.

Introduction

Welcome to FuturesPropCompare ("we", "us", or "our"). We operate the website at sadha2528.github.io/Futuresprophub (the "Site"), a free resource dedicated to comparing futures proprietary trading firms — covering evaluation structures, account sizes, profit splits, drawdown rules, and fees.

We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, why we collect it, how we use it, and what choices you have. We have written this document in plain, accessible language — not legalese — because we believe you deserve to understand exactly how your data is handled.

By using the Site, you agree to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

Short version: We don't collect your name, email, or any identifying personal data. We don't sell data. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the Site so we can make it better.

Information We Collect

FuturesPropCompare has no user account system. You cannot sign up, log in, or submit personal data through any form on this Site. As a result, we do not knowingly collect or store names, email addresses, passwords, payment information, or any other directly identifiable personal data.

The following categories of data are, however, collected automatically when you access the Site:

2.1 Usage & Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymized, aggregated information about how visitors interact with the Site. This includes:

  • Pages viewed, time spent on each page, and navigation paths
  • Referring website or search engine that brought you to the Site
  • General geographic region (country or city — not precise GPS location)
  • Device type, operating system, and browser version
  • Screen resolution and language preference
  • Whether you are a new or returning visitor (via cookies)
  • Events such as clicks on external links or comparison table interactions

Google Analytics uses a randomly generated client ID to distinguish sessions; it does not collect your name or email. We have enabled IP anonymization in GA4, which means the last octet of your IPv4 address (or last 80 bits of your IPv6 address) is zeroed out before storage.

2.2 IP Address

Your IP address is transmitted to our web hosting provider (GitHub Pages) and our CDN provider (Cloudflare) as part of standard HTTP requests. These providers may log IP addresses for security and abuse prevention purposes. We do not independently store or process your IP address beyond what these infrastructure providers handle. See Section 6 for more on third-party services.

2.3 Cookies & Local Storage

We set a small number of cookies — primarily Google Analytics measurement cookies — to understand usage patterns. We do not set any cookies that track you across other websites or build advertising profiles. Full details in Section 4.

2.4 What We Do NOT Collect

How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes only:

  • Site improvement: Understanding which comparison tables, blog posts, and firm pages attract the most interest helps us prioritize content updates and add new firms.
  • Performance monitoring: Aggregate metrics (page load times, error rates) help us identify and fix technical issues.
  • Traffic analysis: Knowing where visitors come from (search, social, direct) helps us understand reach and discoverability.
  • Security: Infrastructure logs (handled by GitHub Pages and Cloudflare) help detect and prevent abuse, scraping, or DDoS activity.
We will never: Sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties. Use your data for targeted advertising. Share identifiable information with prop firms we review. Use data for purposes beyond those listed above.

We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by websites you visit. We use a minimal set of cookies — strictly limited to analytics.

4.1 Cookies We Set

Cookie NameProviderPurposeExpiry
_ga Google Analytics Distinguishes unique users via a randomly generated ID 2 years
_ga_XXXXXXXX Google Analytics Persists the GA4 session state and measurement ID 2 years
__cf_bm Cloudflare Bot management and DDoS protection 30 minutes

4.2 We Do Not Use

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, etc.)
  • Session-recording or heatmap cookies (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.)
  • First-party persistent login cookies (no account system)
  • Cross-site tracking or fingerprinting scripts

4.3 How to Opt Out or Manage Cookies

You have full control over cookies. Options include:

  • Browser settings: All modern browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. See your browser's help section (e.g., Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies).
  • Google Analytics Opt-Out: Install the official Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On to prevent GA from collecting your data across all sites.
  • Do Not Track (DNT): We respect the DNT browser signal. If your browser sends a DNT header, we will not initialize Google Analytics for your session.
  • Consent Management: Where required by law (e.g., GDPR in the EU/EEA), a cookie consent banner will appear on your first visit. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies and declining on reload.
Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use any feature of the Site. All comparison tables, blog content, and firm information remain fully accessible regardless of cookie preferences.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following reputable third-party providers to operate the Site. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

6.1 Google Analytics 4

Purpose: Website traffic analysis and performance measurement.
Data shared: Anonymized usage events, device/browser info, approximate geographic region.
Retention: GA4 retains event data for up to 14 months by default (we use the 14-month setting).
Policy: Google Privacy Policy ↗

Google may use aggregated, anonymized data for improving its own products. We have disabled all Google Signals and demographic reporting features. We do not share GA4 data with any other party.

6.2 GitHub Pages (Hosting)

Purpose: Static website hosting.
Data shared: Your IP address and standard HTTP request headers are processed by GitHub's servers when you load any page.
Policy: GitHub Privacy Statement ↗

6.3 Cloudflare (CDN & Security)

Purpose: Content delivery, DDoS protection, and performance optimization. Our assets are served through Cloudflare's global CDN network.
Data shared: IP addresses, request metadata — processed in real time for threat detection and then anonymized.
Policy: Cloudflare Privacy Policy ↗

6.4 Google Fonts

Purpose: Loading the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces used across the Site.
Data shared: Your IP address and browser's User-Agent string are sent to Google's font servers when fonts are loaded. Google has stated it does not log or store this data for advertising purposes.
Policy: Google Fonts Privacy FAQ ↗

We do not use Facebook Pixel, Snapchat, TikTok, or any advertising network tracking scripts. We run no chat widgets, push notification SDKs, or session-recording services.

Data Retention

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information directly, we do not maintain our own databases of user records.

  • Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months from the date of collection, after which it is automatically deleted from GA4 servers. This data is aggregated and anonymized — it cannot be used to identify you.
  • Cloudflare access logs are retained for a short period (typically 24–72 hours for free/standard plans) solely for security and abuse detection, then purged.
  • GitHub Pages server logs are governed by GitHub's own retention policy (see GitHub's Privacy Statement above).
  • Browser cookies we set expire as described in Section 4. You may delete them at any time via your browser settings.

We do not send data to any data brokers, data lakes, CRM systems, or email marketing platforms. There is no "user profile" created or stored on FuturesPropCompare servers.

Your Rights

Depending on your country of residence, you may have specific legal rights regarding data that has been collected about you. We are committed to honoring these rights to the extent they apply.

8.1 GDPR Rights (EU / EEA / UK)

If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) / UK GDPR, including:

  • Right of Access: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to Be Forgotten"): Request deletion of your data.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: Ask us to limit how we process your data.
  • Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw cookie consent at any time (see Section 4.3).

Because we hold no identifiable personal data ourselves, satisfying most of these requests would be instantaneous — there is no user profile to export or delete on our end. For any data held by Google Analytics, you may use the GA Opt-Out Tool or contact Google directly.

8.2 CCPA Rights (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you the right to:

  • Know what personal information is collected and how it is used.
  • Request deletion of personal information.
  • Opt out of the "sale" of personal information — we do not sell personal information, so this right is automatically fulfilled.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights.
We do not sell, share for cross-context behavioral advertising, or otherwise monetize personal data as defined by the CCPA or any other state privacy law.

8.3 How to Exercise Your Rights

To make any data rights request, please contact us at the email listed in Section 11. We will respond within 30 days (or within the timeframe required by applicable law). Please note that because we hold no directly identifiable data, we may not be able to locate or provide records for a specific individual.

Children's Privacy

FuturesPropCompare is a financial information and comparison resource intended exclusively for adults (18 years of age or older) interested in funded trader programs and futures markets.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or process personal information from individuals under the age of 18. The content on this Site — including discussions of leverage, drawdown limits, profit splits, and trading risk — is not appropriate for minors and presupposes an adult level of financial understanding.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has inadvertently provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately at the address in Section 11 and we will take prompt steps to delete any such information.

If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a person under 18, we will delete that data from our records without delay and take appropriate steps to prevent recurrence.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, third-party service providers, applicable law, or the features of the Site. All changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top.

For material changes — such as the introduction of a new data collection method or a new third-party service — we will make reasonable efforts to draw attention to the change, such as adding a prominent banner on the homepage for 30 days following the update.

Your continued use of the Site after any change is posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you disagree with a change, you should stop using the Site and clear any cookies set by us from your browser.
